Guest Artist for September 17th-28th

 Hey, I’m Nico. I’m 26 and I’ve been tattooing for about 6 years now, but  my background in art goes way back — I’ve worked as a creative director  and managed art galleries in Atlanta, and I started out painting before  I ever touched a tattoo machine. I pull from all of that in my work, so  my style is super versatile. I love doing anime, gothic, trippy,  nature, dark fantasy, portraits, cover-ups, and just fun weird pieces  that stand out. I mostly work in black and grey, but I’ll throw in color  when it feels right.

I’m big Aquarius energy, so adventure is  kind of my thing — if I’m not tattooing, you’ll probably catch me  hiking, around a bonfire, at an amusement park, or off on some  wizard-level adventure. Childhood nostalgia is one of my biggest  inspirations; I like creating tattoos that feel familiar, almost like  you’ve seen them before, but still completely unique and one-of-a-kind.  The weirder the better in my book.

I’ve been lucky enough to  tattoo in Atlanta, New York, Colorado, Mexico, and Arizona, and now I’m  bringing that experience to NextLvl Tattoo here in Maryland. I’m also a  huge horror fan, so creepy portraits and dark pieces are always welcome  in my chair.
